For a number of us at Pelham Community Church, there has been a longing for something more .........more of God, more of true community, more of heart-stirring worship.

The leaders of the church have taken a brave step and embarked on a risky journey: a second worship service. We don't have a lot in place to make this happen so it really is a step of faith (how did one person put it?...."We are called to engage in something so big and beyond ourselves that it is guaranteed to fail .... unless God steps in").

So we are moving ahead with a worship endeavour that is shaped and molded as we go into, what we trust, Christ wants. It is an exercise in faith, creativity, community, team, prayer, research, listening, using the eyes of our hearts.
And the question is: Are you called to join us?

We need musicians who understand that 'longing' that Augustine pegged. IF you feel a longing....a desire to express a God-given gift for the benefit of others (as well as for your own benefit), a need to be a part of a group of people who want to experience true community (biblical community), a place of spiritual growth and nurture while embarking on a hands-on mission of sorts, then take the risk and contact us.
